January POP Winners - Elementary School

POP Award Winners for January

Kindergarten

Jay M. is a great student who always makes good choices and is never in trouble.  I have had other teachers comment on how nice Jay is, and how he shares with others and never complains.  He is very responsible for his age and always completes his work on time and very neatly.  He volunteers in class and is quick to help his classmates when they ask.  Congratulations, Jay, on being a Person of Pride!

Kndergarten

At all times Zariah S. is determined, she demonstrates much enthusiasm about school and she assumes responsibility for making good choices.  She has an excellent rapport with her friends and staff members.  Zariah displays great PRIDE skills on a daily basis.

1st Grade

I would like to nominate Violet H. for the January POP award winner. Violet is an outstanding student who always gives 120% effort on everything she works on. Not only is she a great student, she is also a very kind. She is very responsible, positive, and helpful. She demonstrates all the characteristics of P.R.I.D.E!

 2nd Grade

It is my pleasure to announce Jaida M. as 2nd Grade's January POP winner. Jaida is an outstanding young lady who demonstrates all of the PRIDE components; not only in her academics, but also in her everyday life. She is a person everyone loves to be around. Her smile brightens up any room she enters. Keep up the great work, Jaida! You are awesome!

3rd Grade

The 3rd grade POP award goes to Jada B.  Jada is new to Belle Valley this year and has been a great addition.  She has a warm and caring personality and is always willing to lend a helping hand.  Since the beginning of the year Jada has been working very hard to bring her grades up.  She never complains and always listens to what her teacher has to tell her.  We can always count on Jada to do her best and set good examples for others.  She is a wonderful example of a student of P.R.I.D.E. Thanks Jada!

4th Grade

Emily D. is the type of student you don’t have to “catch” being good. Instead, she can be seen ALWAYS setting the right example.  She comes to school eager to learn and willing to share her knowledge with others.  Being new to a school is never easy, but Emily embraced the change.  She quickly developed friendships and became a leader in our classroom.  While the seasons, temperature, and months may change, Emily’s strong character traits are steadfast.
