Education Background

I graduated in 2002 from Southern Illinois University with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology.

From there, I went to live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming to fulfill my love of skiing and hiking. I moved back to the area in 2008 and attended the Master of Arts in Education Program at McKendree University, where I earned my MAED in Special Education.

I worked for the Waterloo School District as a paraprofessional throughout my graduate program and completed my student teaching in the Valmeyer School District.

Previous Experience

I began my professional teaching career in 2010 working for the Special School District of St. Louis County where I taught in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. I worked in the district for 2 years as an elementary resource teacher before becoming a part of the Belle Valley team! I greatly enjoy teaching and strive to make the school day the best it can be for each and every one of my students!
