Alex has been nominated by the 5th grade teachers to be December’s Person of Pride.  Alex is a wonderful example of a well-rounded student.  He sets a great example for all other students by always trying his best and giving 100% effort in his work.  Alex walks in to school every day with a smile, a hello, and ready to work.  He is extremely respectful to everyone around him and works well with others.  Alex is an amazing student to have in class.
Congratulations Alex, keep it up!

It is my pleasure to introduce our POP Award Winner this month.  It is Hannah!  Hannah always gives 100%.  She is kind and considerate, always willing to lend a helping hand.  Hannah is almost always on time.  Role model is a great adjective to describe Hannah.
I am proud to have her in my homeroom; she is an all-around great student and friend.
