Congratulations to Dominique for being selected as the 7th grade POP award winner!  Dominique is a wonderful student who is always on time for class, comes to class prepared, and always tries her best. She seems to always have a smile on her face, too, and is a trusted friend who helps people anyway she can. Her good grades reflect her hard work. She even earned a plaque and gift card from the VFW for her Patriotic Pen essay!  Congratulations, Dominique! Keep up the good work!

Zion is the 8th grade Person of Pride for January. Zion is a pleasure to have in class because he always completes his assignments on time, participates in class discussions, and takes pride in his school work. He recently went above and beyond in his English class memorizing and reciting a complicated lyrical song. The focus in English right now is poetry, and Zion displayed an excellent example of alliteration. In addition to his classroom success, he is also very helpful and caring towards his fellow classmates and teachers. Zion displays many qualities that make him an excellent student and candidate for the Person of Pride award. Given all of these qualities, his future looks very bright and as his teachers, we know he will go on to do great things. Congratulations Zion!
