Belle Valley School District #119 has joined the St. Clair County Online Application Consortium. To establish a complete pre-employment file, please complete the online application. If offered employment, you will be required to pass a medical examination with negative TB test results. We also submit criminal background record checks to the Illinois State Police, which must be returned “cleared” from the State prior to the first day of employment.
All personnel NOT required to have teacher or administrative certification through the State of Illinois are considered Educational Support Personnel. This would include all administrative center support staff, instructional aides, secretaries, office personnel, lunchroom/playground supervisors, custodians, health clerks, registered nurses, etc. We feel these staff members are the backbone of our district and make our district one of the best in the area to work. Therefore, we are always looking for caring, thoughtful, dedicated and loyal individuals interested in working for a great district. The most important step in applying for a position with District 119 is completing the application from this site.
We do post openings internally for at least one week prior to searching for new candidates; therefore, it is sometimes advantageous to start in one position while waiting for a position you prefer to become available.
