Educational Background and Experience: I attended Illinois State University where I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in 2009. I taught 7th grade Reading and English my first year at Belle Valley. Ever since then I have been teaching 1st grade. I received my Reading Specialist Masters Degree from Greenville College in 2012. |

Class Information: We have a class pet named Skeeter. He is a bearded dragon and the students help to take care of him. We do a lot of hands on projects and learning activities and it helps students to have a greater understanding of what they are learning. I love teaching and I love kids so coming to work everyday is an absolute joy. |
