Education and Experience Attended Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, from 1978-1980. Graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1987.
I began my teaching career at Belle Valley North in August of 1989, and am still here 23 years later! I have taught second, third, and sixth grade. |

Hobbies I love taking care of my flower garden. One of my favorite people to spend time with is my 3 year old granddaughter; I also enjoy reading, and have recently begun running. I entered my first 5K race earlier in October, and it was great! Family I have been married for 32 years to a great guy, and have three daughters. As a child, my family moved a lot; school was one place where I could feel comfortable and successful. The only career I seriously considered was teaching, so I could spend all of my time at school! |
