My career at Belle Valley included doing my student teaching here in 1984, being a Kindergarten aide in 1985, substitute teaching in 1985, and filling in as a long-term sub in 1986, which led to my full-time, permanent position as a 4th grade teacher in that year.

I am a divorced mother of two. Kevin is a marketing major in his sophomore year at Bradley University in Peoria. Lauren is a sophomore honor student at Collinsville High School.

My favorite thing in the world to do is cuddle a warm puppy.

My expectations for my students are to come to class prepared, love each other, and love learning as much as I do. In order to do that keep daily assignments in an Agenda, show them to parents at home, and take a folder home daily with papers and notes in them.
