Family and Hobbies My total passion is my two grandchildren, Elizabeth who is 18 months and Jay who just turned four the end of August.....I love being with them and watching them grow. Also, my husband and I have a small mobile home on Carlyle Lake...We enjoy golfing, boating, swimming and being with friends at the Lake.
I graduated from Belle Valley in 1964 and Belleville East in l968. Upon graduation from high school I truly believed I wanted to teach music at the elementary level. However, as I progressed through college my interest changed to teaching kindergarten. I was lucky to have this chance and be with the little ones for eight years. When I reentered the teaching profession in 1991 I was hired for fourth grade, and there I stayed for sixteen years...Why did I and still do love teaching?.......It is the countless boys and girls, now men and women who come back, hug me, and say thanks. |
