| Education I received a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Illinois University in 1996. In 2005 I received a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. |

I taught pre-kindergarten at Belle Valley for 7 years prior to teaching kindergarten. I live in Troy with my husband, Terry, my daughter, Payton, my son, Evan, and our pets; Tanner the dog, Camy the hermit crab, and Fish of Changing Colors the fish. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends boating, camping, and playing volleyball. I enjoy teaching Kindergarten because it is an exciting time as children discover the world of learning. It is my desire to instill a love of learning that will last throughout your child's years of schooling. I believe with teamwork and cooperation among parents, teachers, and students we will have a successful year!
