Educational Background:

Earned my BS from SIU-Carbondale in 1971

Earned my MS from SIU-Edwardsville in 1976

I started my teaching career at Belle Valley in Dec. 1971 in 3rd grade.

Taught 3rd grade for 3 years and have taught 5th grade for 34 years

I have one child, Patrick Hoercher. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in May 2006 and attended Harvard University graduate school. He married a wonderful Southern belle on Sept. 5, 2010 in Texas.

AutoSkill became part of the Belle Valley South curriculum in the fall of 2008.

It services students in reading and math that need a little extra help in those areas.

It is better to make an appointment with me if you would like to have a conference because I have Student Council activities to deal with after school
