CHARACTER EDUCATION 2011-2012

Starting September 12^th

To align the school with the city of Belleville’s character education efforts, Belle Valley South has adopted the city of Belleville’s Character Words of the Month.
The word of the month and meaning will be announced weekly.
Character words and information will be displayed on the website.
Character words will be visible on the marquee.
Each month, students who have not received any noon/lunch detentions, after-school detentions (ASD), in-school suspension (ISS), or out of school suspensions (OSS), will participate in an activity after the end of the month, and will have their names announced during morning announcements.
Students will be able to start with a clean slate every month.
Students who don’t have any behavioral issues all school year (from September 1^5th – May), (no noon/lunch detentions, after-school detentions (ASD), in-school suspension (ISS), or out of school suspensions (OSS) will participate in a field trip in May.
